Real or Fake Virus? Vista Total Security 2011?

Spyware Doctor

I was on the computer, and this thing pops up. It’s Vista Total Security 2011. It says my PC is infected and that I have 25 infections. They are:
Email-Worm.JS.Gigger
IM-Worm.Win32.Kelvir.k
BWME.Twelve.1378
Devices.2000
IRC-Worm.DOS.Septic
IRC-Worm.DOS.Loa
P2P-Worm.Win32.Duload.a
Happy_II.506
Joke.1068
P2P-Worm.Win32.Franvir
Lemena.3544
Kot.b
EICAR-Test-File
Virus.Boot-DOS.V.1526
Macro.Visio.Radiant
Trojan-Clicker.Win32. Small.k
Virus.BAT.8Fish
Trojan-Spy.HTML. Bankfraud
DoS.Win32.DieWar
Exploit.CodeBaseExec
Trojan-Spy.HTML.Bankfraud
Trojan-Proxy.Win32.Agent.x
Email-Worm.VBS.Peach
Virus.Boot-DOS.V.1536
Macro.PPoint.ShapeShift
Then a bunch of other screens pop up, like Do you want to block this attack? I clicked no
Also, one that says System Hijacking!
I’ve googled it, and it says that they’re fake, and to download Malwarebytes, but it won’t let me download it. I’ve tried like 10 times. I also tried downoading Spyware Doctor, but it wouldn’t let me download that either. Any suggestions??

You need rkill first. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill Keep trying till one of them downloads. They have been renamed on purpose. DO NOT RESTART YOUR MACHINE Download malware bytes and update it. Once you run rkill then you will be able to download malware bytes. This should fix your problem. Run mal ware bytes delete whatever it finds. Make sure you turn off any AV you might have running before running rkill. it’s useless at this point anyway.

You have a malware on your computer. A malware is something that says you have all these problems on your pc, so you download it and get either an importand virus or just some crap you don’t need

Yes, it is a virus. When ever it keeps opening just close it or exit. And is it like when you are on the internet it opens or does it open when you are on your desktop. If it opens when you are on the Internet then I advise you to unistall your browser. If you have another computer I suggest you to download an antivirus program and transfer it to the computer via flash drive and so on or try booting into Safe Mode and then install the antivirus program. If it opens without being on the internet. Then open task manager. CRTL+ALT+DEL. It’s worth a try but if it is a decent virus then it will most likely be blocked. Then go to run and type in Regedit.exe then go here HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System. In the right-pane, delete the value named DisableTaskMgr
Close Regedit.exe. Then task manager should be unblocked and look for a werid name in there search google for common names used by viruses. And then in task manager stop it. This does not delete the virus it just stops it temporarily. Also go to start and run and type in msconfig and go to start up process and click disable all and save and exit. Oh and after those things you should be able to install an antivirus program to remove the virus. If all else fails. Install a new operating system but that’s if all else fails. Tell I any of the methods I said worked.

Vista Total Security 2011 is a fake antivirus program. Please follow the removal recommendations outlined here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnorM4tB4Wuvn3stS8eboO3sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110501111039AAgn5fJ

If you are not a comp Expert DO NOT try deleting it the hardway which most sites tell u how. Simply do system restore back to the date before the virus came. (The virus wont be gone. It will return in about a day or less) So in that time download malewarebytes and run it in safe mode. it will detect the items for you then you will be all good :)
    Trust me. it works
