it was ridiculous speed. in the end 21 infections were found. Why it took such long time to scan? isn’t that a very inferior performance?
i emailed spyware doctor saying that it took 5 hours time and its too slow but i never get any reply back.

It depends on the speed of your computer and the size and files of your computer. The larger the files in your computer, the longer it will finish.

Well it depends on how many files you have it scan. Doing a full system scan over 200GB of data is going to take a very long time reguardless of what program you use. For the most part just do a weekly Intelli-Scan and every month or so do a full system scan. It is not inferior in any way shape or form. I have used Spyware Doctor for over 2 years and nothing has escaped it yet. It also will go slower if you have tons of programs opened and running as well
The more files you have it scan the longer it takes. But, it also depends on how many files you have, cuz’ if you had it scan all the files then and if you have alot then it will take a pretty long time.

It may be that your computer does not have enough RAM to cope with Spyware Doctor. Spyware Doctor in my experience is a very heavy program, but it is also extremely effective. If you still have problems with Spyware Doctor, try some other product like Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware or CounterSpy which are about as good as Spyware Doctor, but uses a whole lot less RAM.
