I’ve had this rogue anti-virus hundreds of times before. We have alot of computers in my house and none ever had problems like this before. I am in cyber school and the school sent us a computer with anti-virus on it. One day the internet started redirecting itself. I could be clicking on a link for study skills and a porn website will come up. Or I’ll click on the school’s website and a shopping website will come up.
These stupid redirects keep putting rogue programs on my computer. I tried something to stop the redirects but it doesnt work. I tried malwarebytes, combofix, and spyware doctor to get rid of XP home security but none of those work. I go in safemode and and it’s there, i did a system restore and it’s still there. I ended all of its processes and killed its startup files, but they “regenerate” themselves!
I’ve been restoring it to factory settings every single day, but as soon as i go to do my work i get another one. I dont think flushing it all the time is good for it and i cant use another computer because the school won’t except files from a computer that is not theirs. What can I do?

Check out either Microsoft Security Essentials, or Avast! AntiVirus. Both are excellent free tools that will most likely remove this malware.
